The house occupies a place between lived area and curated atmosphere. “An open association that leaves room for interpretation,” is how Penzlien describes it. Its floorplan unfolds from the within out. Guests enter on the heart, with the residing space and kitchen organized to 1 aspect and the bed room to the opposite. A beneficiant rest room precedes the bed room, and a balcony spans the width of the rooms—options whose proportions lend an impression of breadth that exceeds the sq. meter rely.
The lighting plan heightens this high quality, introducing heat by pendant and ground lamps that counter the institutional façades past the home windows. “The lighting added an emotional layer the structure welcomed,” she says. ‘Analog Glas’ contributes the ‘Omam’ pendant gentle, the ‘Initï’ mirror and the ‘Lola’ ground lamp. Gentle furnishings layer depth all through. Studio Jumi’s ‘Copper Waffle’ introduces light rise and fall within the residing space, whereas Grid II anchors the bed room with its handwoven construction. “Textiles give a distinct affiliation, one thing nearer to the sensation of residing,” Penzlien says. A set of rigorously chosen works welcome distinct voices to the rooms. Jérémy Bellina’s stoneware ‘Fowl Jug 01’ brings a playful contact, Sanghyeok Lee’s ‘Home Structure’ desk an endearing stoicism, and Myriam Perrot’s ‘Talus’ a refined textural shift.
